Cookies at Winshark Notes

Last updated: Reading time: 3 min

Winshark Notes does not set advertising, analytics or third-party cookies. The site is intended to be read directly, with internal navigation between the Winshark product sections and a browser-based crypto value exposure check on the home page.

The publication does not rely on advertising or analytics cookies

Reading the Winshark overview and the supporting sections does not depend on advertising identifiers or analytics cookies. There is no cookie-based reader account or behavioural advertising layer attached to normal use of the site.

This keeps the cookie surface narrow. Page navigation works through ordinary links, and the informational sections do not need a persistent identifier to remember who opened them.

The crypto value exposure check does not persist inputs between visits

The crypto value exposure check on the home page runs in the browser and does not store its selected values in cookies or local storage between visits. The amount, price-move scenario and transfer-fee choices are used to calculate the result shown for that session only.

That behaviour also means the tool does not build a history of previous scenarios. Returning later starts from the tool’s normal defaults rather than from a personal record of earlier selections.

Browser controls remain available for clearing site data

Browsers provide their own controls for viewing or clearing site data. Those settings can be used at any time if a reader wants to remove data the browser itself has retained for a site, such as cached files or other locally stored website data.

The exact menu depends on the browser and device, but the function is generally available in privacy, security or site-data settings. Clearing site data can also remove cached resources that help pages load faster on a later visit.

Cookie handling stays separate from casino and payment accounts

The cookie policy applies to Winshark Notes, not to Winshark, a payment provider, an e-wallet or a crypto wallet. Opening the privacy page explains the same boundary for personal information and the local browser tool. External services have their own data and cookie practices when a reader chooses to use them directly.

Winshark Notes keeps site-state requirements minimal

The site does not need advertising, analytics or third-party cookies to deliver its articles, and the home-page scenario tool does not retain its inputs between visits. Browser-level controls remain available for clearing site data whenever a reader wants to reset what the browser has stored locally.
