Privacy at Winshark Notes

Last updated: Reading time: 3 min

Winshark Notes is an informational reference that can be read without creating an account, and it does not request personal data from readers. The site is designed for direct access to its articles and one browser-based scenario tool, with ordinary navigation between the Winshark product, payment, account and legal sections.

Reading the site does not require a user profile

Articles are available without registration, login or a reader profile. The site has no forms, analytics or reader accounts, so normal use does not involve submitting a name, email address, payment detail or gambling-account credential to Winshark Notes.

This keeps the privacy model simple. Reading the games section, comparing the payment information or opening the legal-status section does not require an identity layer on the publication itself.

The crypto value exposure check runs locally in the browser

The main page includes a crypto value exposure check. It models how a selected price movement and transfer-fee scenario could change the AUD value associated with a crypto transfer. The values entered or selected in that tool are processed locally in the browser; they are not sent anywhere and are not stored.

The calculation uses the inputs currently visible in the browser session and updates the result immediately. Closing or reloading the page starts the interaction again without a stored reader profile or saved tool history. The tool does not need access to a wallet, exchange account, casino account or payment credential.

The Winshark overview places that scenario alongside the wider payment context. It is designed to separate transfer fees and price movement from gambling results, which is particularly relevant when a crypto asset is used to move value.

Standard hosting logs can still exist at the server level

As with any website, hosting infrastructure may keep standard server logs. These can include routine technical data such as the requested page, time of request, browser or device information and an IP address used to deliver the page and maintain service security.

Server logs are different from an account profile. They are part of ordinary web delivery and security rather than a reader-facing registration system. Winshark Notes does not provide a login area that links article reading or tool inputs to a personal site account.

Payment and casino credentials belong with their original services

Information in the payments section explains cards, e-wallets, bank transfer and crypto assets associated with Winshark, but those payment credentials are not entered into Winshark Notes. Likewise, account verification information describes how identity checks can affect a casino withdrawal; it does not create a document-upload process on this publication.

Keeping those boundaries clear reduces unnecessary exposure. Casino credentials should be used only with the casino service itself, and payment or wallet credentials should remain with the relevant payment provider or wallet environment.

Privacy is simplest when the publication stays read-only

The practical model is straightforward: read the material, move between internal sections, and use the crypto value exposure check locally if it helps illustrate a transfer scenario. No reader account is needed to access the reference, and the tool does not transmit or retain its inputs.
